The first listen to the new album "Live In Gouvy" by the internationally acclaimed New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble. Recorded live at Ferme de la Madelonne in Gouvy, Belgium. This track is "Free As A Bird" composed by the founder and bandleader, Fred "Rocksteady Freddie" Reiter.
This marks the first time that the NYSJE has recorded a live record with a three horn line-up. The previous live records, "Live in Europe" and "Live In Paris" featured the traditional saxophone/trombone horn section that NYSJE is best known for. "Live in Gouvy" adds trumpet to that classic sound!
The new album "Live In Gouvy" will be available November of 2016 via all major digital download retailers.
