Another interesting Wild Camp in Lake District. This time I was using the new Nortent Vern 1 which many people are trying to say this could be a challenge to to Hilleberg Soulo. The weather conditions were awful again, this time the visibility was very poor with rain, mist / fog with 20mph winds. The route was rocky, wet and slippery for first half and then boggy for the remainder. The tent is easy to pitch and I love the space inside and no condensation in the morning. The Hilleberg Solou is a true 4 season tent so can’t say the Vern 1 is as it’s still not been truly tested, early days.
