Reliving The War takes a look at the entire WWF vs WCW Monday Night War that took place from the mid 90s to early 2000s. Each and every match gets covered along with every promo, and every week we find out which show was better; WWF Raw is War or WCW Monday Nitro.

It's the night after Starrcade 1998 and Goldberg's undefeated streak has ended. New World Heavyweight Champion Kevin Nash addresses what happened at the PPV while also promising to give Goldberg another shot at the title next week on Nitro. Elsewhere on the show Ric Flair lays out a challenge to Eric Bischoff, one that could change WCW as we head into a new year.

On Raw this week Vince McMahon promises to fire Shawn Michaels, and Mr. McMahon also begins his Royal Rumble preparations by training hard at the gym. We see more D-Generation X vs Corporation matches on this week's show with X-Pac vs Big Boss Man and Triple H vs Ken Shamrock.
