Features a flame from an alcohol torch, a mild application of an equalizer filter, and a very slight amount of digital reverb to give the illusion of a larger room.

This should help a lot of people fall asleep if my own experience is any indication. I fell asleep during the first 3 attempts at recording this. I used no script, I just had a general direction: talking flame in a cave, helping a visitor get some rest. Once the voice was chosen, the character created itself as it spoke, and it grew as I made more recordings. The last one was the best, so this is what you get.

Setup: microphone tied around my neck to be excessively close to my mouth (I need a much better one) , a thick bathrobe covering it & myself, to filter out the background computer noises, and gain a softer sound. The result is good, considering! The flame was filmed separately, the video was about 20 minutes long, and it was repeated to match the length of the audio recording.
