The End of the Road – Copper Harbor, Michigan (Van Life Adventure)

On this stop of my van life journey, I explored one of Michigan’s most remote and underrated towns — Copper Harbor at the very top of the Keweenaw Peninsula.

A highlight was Brockway Mountain Drive, where the views of Lake Superior and the wilderness go on forever. This same day I hiked out to the Mary Macdonald Preserve at Horseshoe Harbor, a rugged spot with crashing waves, jagged rocks, and total peace. Fort Wilkins, walking through Michigan’s history at the edge of the state was pretty cool as well. Calumet Michigan was also fun, but I was pretty tired by the time I got there.

These places reminded me how small I am, and how big and beautiful God’s creation really is. 🙏 Sometimes we need to drive to the literal end of the road to find clarity and stillness.
