MV Lady Herron - SCRAPPING UPDATE [PART 12] GRAND FINALE

The day has finally come. Today I post the final Lady Herron scrapping update…. Today there is absolutely nothing left… The once beautiful Sydney Ferry has been reduced to nothing... Over the past few weeks I have been hard at work capturing as much of the scrapping as possible… Its been a long journey full of emotions but it was so important to capture this event. From the start of her scrapping on the 19th of February to today I have visited Newcastle 16 times to capture the progression of the scrapping. Its been fun providing my weekly Saturday updates and i feel fulfilled knowing just how much I have captured. Its been very sad watching the Herron slowly disappear to history but its bittersweet knowing her metal will be reused to create new things… Maybe even new vessels! So its nice knowing that she’ll never really truely be gone.

A big thank you to my Dad and Mum who have both gotten up early to drive me and the kayaks to Newcastle on the weekends!
