Hi peeps and welcome to another Bear report brought to you by Mydo bait swimmers.
Sheew and the July swell arrived! Surf has been cooking the last two days and has obviously been hampering Sardine netting efforts and was so big today the netters took the day off as well as the Sharks board!
Although we have had bumpy conditions the fish are still coming out! Well done Master Alistair Jones with a lekker 12.2kg White Steenbras, Master Henry with a bus 30kg Daga salmon, Troy Elof with a 19kg Couta local and Master Juggs Holtzman with a decent Geelbek local as well! Aweh lads lekker winter fish!
The rock and surf guys are also getting good fish with Daga salmon, GT, Garrick, Snoek and Blacktip kingies coming out.
Ja there's decent colour behind those wave's and surf is set to drop to 2.2m tomorrow morning at 14 seconds from the SE. We have a NE wind blowing now this afternoon which should help flatten it out a bit.
Sea temps are up from 21 degC to almost 23 degC today with a SN current pushing.
Tomorrow a light offshore wind blows early bells and a light onshore blows in the afternoon with low tide at 08h33 and a high tide at 14h36.
As always dive safe and straight spears from the Bear
