From its very announcement, Battlefield 5 was mired in controversy and drama. At launch, the game felt barebones and unfinished with an odd focus on unfamiliar parts of the Second World War. As the game's live service chugged along though and more content filled out the game's offering, the game's very solid core foundation finally began to shine through. I've been hooked on this game since 2018 but realized that many people may have skipped over it entirely... so, let's talk about how GOOD of a game Battlefield 5 really was!
