In today's video I will be restoring an old clamp on lamp. This old lamp was in pretty rough shape when I got it - Much of the paint was missing, rust had made its way through the copper plating, some bodywork was required to remove and fill in dents, the protective fabric on the clamp was in very rough shape and the the old electrical cable was worn. Overall there was a lot of work to be done!

I don't know a lot about this clamp on lamp, but it appears to be pretty old. There was no rubber grommet where the power cable exits the case, although it could have fallen off at some point there was no indication that it ever had one. As well, the power cable had no strain relief, nor was there any knot in the cable to act as a strain relief.
