Blanking - the reality of carp fishing

As much as we all like to catch carp every time we go fishing, the reality is it doesn't happen all the time. In between the red letter sessions we all talk about, are usually a string of blanks. Very often these number a lot more than some anglers care to talk about, especially during the upcoming winter months when it gets very hard to consistently keep catching. In this week's film I talk about a recent trip I did to Belgium when I blanked for ten days. Add in a few frustrating trips to my local syndicates and I'll admit it's been a tough month of angling for myself. How do I go about correcting things? Do I change rig, bait or do I just stick to what I know works?
