the handmaid's tale truly depicts how horrific the times are today. we do live in a hell today whether we want to admit it or not. we are faced with so much tragedy, so much hate, so much violence. if you are not a white male in society, there is so much suffering you have to bear - one that the handmaid's tale is excellent in depicting. i'd like to think that collectively as a society we have progressed but as seen in the states, with every step we take forwards, we take three steps back and it makes me want to scream. i knew i had to vid this show from the moment i saw it for the resemblance it has to today's society. there is so much that i could say, so much that has to be said but i think i'll leave the rest for the video to say.

p.s. sorry for the quality of some scenes i really tried to find the highest quality episodes
