Our story begins in the kingdom of Ayodhya, where Prince Rama is born to King Dasharatha and Queen Kausalya. As the eldest of four brothers, Rama is renowned for his virtue and strength. His life seems destined for greatness.
In a grand swayamvara ceremony, Rama wins the hand of the beautiful and virtuous Sita by breaking the mighty bow of Shiva. Their marriage is a joyous occasion, and they return to Ayodhya, where their future as a royal couple looks promising.
However, just as Rama is about to be crowned king, a twist of fate unfolds. Kaikeyi, one of King Dasharatha’s wives, demands that Rama be exiled for 14 years, a promise made to her long ago. Rama, ever the embodiment of duty and honor, accepts this challenge willingly. Sita and his loyal brother Lakshmana choose to accompany him into the wilderness.
While in exile, the peace of the forest is shattered when the demon king Ravana of Lanka abducts Sita. With Sita taken to his distant kingdom, Rama and Lakshmana embark on a heroic quest to rescue her.
Rama’s search leads him to the monkey king Sugriva and his general Hanuman along with bear king Jambavantha, a devoted ally with incredible strength and devotion. Together, they rally an army of monkeys and bears to wage a war against Ravana.

Even with their rule established, rumors persist, leading Rama to make a heart-wrenching decision to banish Sita to the forest. There, Sita gives birth to twins, Lava and Kusha. Eventually, Sita returns to the earth, and Rama continues his reign until he departs for the heavens.
