Jacob's Ladder:
Jacob was on a long journey and stopped to rest for the night, using a stone as a pillow. While he slept, he had an amazing dream! He saw a ladder reaching all the way from Earth to heaven, with angels going up and down on it. At the very top, God was standing and spoke to Jacob, promising to be with him, protect him, and give him many descendants and the land he was sleeping on. When Jacob woke up, he knew that God was in that place, and he felt amazed and a little scared. He set up the stone as a pillar and called the place Bethel, meaning "House of God."
