If yu listen to the lyrics, i think yu'll get what its supposed to mean. "ive become what I can't be" - johns fallen for a terminator, the thing hes supposed to lead mankind in the war against. "I think Im moving but I go nowhere"- he thinks hes going somewhere, but he just keeps going back to cameron, lol of course, who wouldn't? "I do anything to get whats fair. But fairs not what I really need." John wants to be normal, he wants riley or the other blondie whats her name, he just wants to be a regular kid. but hes john connor, future leader of the resistance.
