For a great many years trams were the main form of public transportation for getting around London. However their demise began in the 1930's and by the early 1950's they had almost completely disappeared.
This is a small section of tram photos I have acquired which not only show trams, but also the areas they travelled through, giving a nice flavour of London during that period.
