'I'm Daniel and I'm a PhD student studying Sports Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University. I love ice hockey and I'm studying the effectiveness of helmets and concussion prevention in sport. Studying in the UK has given me access to world-class researchers and when I complete my PhD I'd like to work in research and development for a large helmet or sports equipment manufacturer.'
