A diplomat from an Arab nation conveyed to the Associated Press News Agency that high-ranking officials from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, and Oman have expressed worries over the past few days regarding the potential for U.S. military action to disrupt the global economy and further destabilize a region that is already experiencing significant volatility.

Oil prices experienced a decline as market observers seemed to recognize a change in President Donald Trump's rhetoric.

This shift was interpreted as an indication that he may be moving away from the prospect of military action against Iran, following a series of intense threats directed at Tehran regarding its harsh repression.
