Wrawby Junction (Barnetby) on 4th and 6th November 1992
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Wrawby Junction just to the West of Barnetby Station taken on 04 & 06/11 1992. The junction has 3 diverging routes, one to the Left of this clip (South) goes to Market Rasen and Lincoln where the Mainline straight ahead is the Gainsborough line, (not much traffic used this route) and the line to the right (North West) is the Doncaster line where most of the traffic goes and comes from. A good selection of traction is seen here which makes the location interesting especially with the 3 gantry's of semaphore signals. The majority of trains are from or going to Lindsay, Immingham or Cleethorpes. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories.
