On January 22, 1995, Silverchair made their second appearance at the 1995 Big Day Out festival in Melbourne
Very little information exists about this show. A very short clip of Daniel circulates, which may eventually be complete
According to witnesses, the trio took the stage around 4:15 PM and played for approximately 30-45 minutes on a secondary stage of the festival, known as the 3RRR Stage
Silverchair's performance, whose members were all 15 years old, unleashed a frenzy among the audience. Media reports indicate that the fans were so enthusiastic that part of the stage roof collapsed in Melbourne due to the commotion and jumping of the crowd. Photographer Sophie Howarth even recounts that just before the set, a fan climbed the roof structure and performed a backflip into the crowd
