This video explains the types of sentences according to structure. In English Grammar there are four types of sentences according to structure.
1) Simple Sentences
2) Compound Sentences
3) Complex Sentences
4) Compound-Complex Sentences
A simple sentence carries one independent clause. A compound sentence consists of two independent clauses. A complex sentence has one independent and one dependent clause. Whereas a compound-complex sentence consists of two independent clauses and one dependent clause.
