The first difference is that in timeshare, all of the prospects are bribed to attend a presentation in exchange for a free vacation or a free gift... so none of them are interested and in most cases are annoyed and angry that they even have to sit in front of you in the first place.

The second difference is that there is no tomorrow. You're typically only allowed one shot to sell that person and if you don't close them that day on the spot, you forfeit that opportunity and another follow-up team comes behind you and tries to sell them and if they do, they get the commission not you. Ouch!

Therefore it's one of the most intense and mentally challenging sales jobs on the planet earth! You have to take a hostile uninterested prospect and get them to go from zero interest to spending anywhere from $30,000-$100,000 on the spot without going home to think about it. As difficult as that seems, I did it everyday for years... and became extremely successful at it.

The reason was I developed a formula and several tricks, tips, and secrets that helped me not only to build rapid rapport, trust and credibility but to also find and discover in minutes all of the information I needed to sell and motivate the person in front of me into action.

I discovered that this formula for getting people to do what I wanted them to do immediately, didn't just work for selling timeshare, it worked also in my network marketing company and helped me both close business and motivate my team and get them to duplicate like crazy. Mastering the steps of this formula also worked miracles in many of my personal relationships, but that's a different story. =)
