課程項目
2025搜救犬訓練課程目標是製造一隻野外搜救犬，但課程目的是學員在整個訓練過程中的學習，理論及實踐課題超過十六項，訓練中學員必須有一定的合作能力，四人一組，負責一隻德國牧羊犬的起居飲食及遊戲時間，全程由導師指引。

上課時間
逢星期六、日早上十點至下午四點六小時，是主力課堂，其他時間會有彈性安排，在課程會議中商討。

課程目的
我們以搜救犬作為訓練目標，是希望每位學員在課程中更認真更快進入專業水平，皆因搜救犬是一項高要求的訓練項目。

跨境體驗
三月三十一日前成功報名之學員有機會親身到台灣觀摩國際水平的訓練賽事，現場體驗真正工作犬的能力，進一步認知犬隻訓練，有助學習思維更清晰。

課程完成可獲 P.C.T.A. 職業犬隻訓練員協會頒發 SAR DOG TRAINER 搜救犬訓練員證書及SAR臂章

2025 Latest Course

Four people are responsible for one dog, working in a team format, starting from zero to cultivate a German Shepherd wilderness search and rescue dog. The course begins with puppy selection and lasts six months, involving extensive breeding and training knowledge with hands-on experience throughout. The course is guided and assisted by former Fire Service Search Dog Team instructor allowing students to gain extensive knowledge and practical experience through the puppy cultivation process. This is the most professional start for dog training students. Places are limited to two groups of students simultaneously, meaning eight people total. Except for outreach training periods, classes are held in the Fanling area. Two parking spaces are available with advance application. The training location does not accommodate visits.

Registration deadline: 30/04/2025. Puppies will be ordered after registration closes, estimated to arrive within two months. Students may participate in the on-site puppy selection process (self-funded)

Course start date: Begins when puppies arrive in Hong Kong, lasting six months

Course certificate issued by P.C.T.A. Professional Canine Training Association

Full course fee: HK$ 45,000.00

Course Details The 2025 Search and Rescue Dog Training Course aims to develop an outdoor search and rescue dog, but the course's primary focus is on student learning throughout the training process. The curriculum includes over sixteen theoretical and practical topics. Students must demonstrate teamwork capabilities, working in groups of four to care for one German Shepherd dog's daily needs and playtime, all under instructor guidance.

Class Schedule Classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 4 PM (6 hours), which are the main sessions. Additional flexible arrangements will be discussed during course meetings.

Course Objective We use search and rescue dog training as our goal to encourage students to approach the professional level more seriously and quickly, as search and rescue dog training is a highly demanding discipline.

Cross-border Experience Students who successfully register before March 31 will have the opportunity to observe international-level training competitions in Taiwan, experiencing working dogs' capabilities firsthand and gaining clearer insights into dog training.

Upon course completion, students will receive a SAR DOG TRAINER certificate and badge from the Professional Canine Trainers Association (P.C.T.A.).
