後慈湖長期為管制區，原為蔣介石總統與夫人散步、遊憩的地點。桃園市政府於2009年開放參觀，遊客可以透過網路預約申請入園。園區亦保留部份入園名額提供遊客現場報名。由於名額有限，建議事先透過網路申請入園。
Back Cihu has long been a controlled area, originally a place where President Chiang Kai-shek and his wife took a walk and recreation. The Taoyuan City Government opened it for tourist in 2009. Tourists can make an appointment online to apply for admission. The park also reserves part of the admission quota for tourists to register on site. Due to the limited number of quota, it is recommended to apply for admission through the Internet in advance.

【路程時間參考】（Walking reference time）
導覽解說人員帶領遊客參觀，團進團出，步行距離約3.85公里，參觀時間約３小時（視導覽人員解說時間而定。）
The guide lead the tourists to visit, the group in and the group out, the walking distance is about 3.85 kilometers in length, and the tour time is about 3 hours (depending on the guide's commentary time.)

【交通資訊】（Traffic Information）
★大眾運輸：搭台鐵至桃園站、中壢站，轉搭桃園客運（往大溪）至大溪站下，轉搭桃園客運（往復興、小烏來、巴陵、阿姆坪）至慈湖站下。或搭高鐵至桃園站，轉搭台灣好行大溪快線501路，至慈湖站下。
★自行開車：Google地圖衛星導航輸入「慈湖停車場」，即可抵達目的地。
★Public transportation: Take the Taiwan Railway to Taoyuan Station or Zhongli Station, transfer to Taoyuan Bus (to Daxi) to get off at Daxi Station, and transfer to Taoyuan Bus (to Fuxing, Xiaowulai, Baling, Amping to get off at Cihu Stop. Or take the Taiwan High-Speed Rail to Taoyuan Station, then transfer to Taiwan's Shuttle Bus Daxi Express Line 501, and get off at Cihu Stop.
★Drive by yourself: Enter "Cihu Parking Lot" in Google Map satellite navigation to reach your destination.
