Jeep Owners Club UK Summer Camp - Highlights Reel

Last August we had an opportunity to attend a couple of days off roading at Seven Sisters, Walters Arena in Wales. Summer Camp - organised by the Jeep Owners Club UK.

Walters arena is a vast off-roading site in South Wales, previously an opencast coal surface mine. Nowadays Walters Arena is known as an international motorsport complex. Hosting rallies, used as a famous testing venue for vehicle manufacturers and home to many international off-roading competitions.

We were super excited to be able to wheel in this location. We’ve heard many stories from friends and seen lots of coverage online; we couldn’t wait to put our Jeep through its paces. It's rare that we will hold back when it comes to off-roading in our Jeep, even though it’s our daily driver and let’s be honest we would like it to stay shiny for as long as possible. At the same time though we also love to use it for what it was made for. Walters arena definitely made us do so. We even had to use our winch to get ourselves through a difficult spot for the very first time.

This event was organised by the Jeep Owners Club UK. They organise several Jeep events throughout the year. These are great if you’re new to the Jeep scene and want to meet new like minded people. Also great to get some basic off-road training and get to know what your Jeep is capable of.

We would like to dedicate this video to Jim Olexa, President of the JOC UK, who sadly passed away last November. Jim was great guy, and huge Jeep enthusiast, who always made us feel very welcome and part of the Jeep family.
