With a broken core piece on your filter the water is not properly being filtered as some is bypassing the filter, as well as the dust and debris with it. If the air socket falls off just put it on try to click it to the last notch. If the air socket bag missing will allow debris to blow back into your pool! Order another!

ALWAYS use the tip about how to take the filter out properly to save your core piece lifespan! Press your thumbs on the two black handles of the core. Then while pressing down on the core with your thumbs place fingers in grids and lift up!
