Webfleet unveiled its next-generation AI-powered dashcam technology at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show, showcasing how telematics has evolved beyond just tracking vehicles on a map. The new Webfleet Video 2.0 system, launched during National Road Safety Week, includes two new dashcam solutions – the Cam Light and the Cam Pro – designed to significantly improve driver safety and fleet visibility.
Unlike traditional dashcams, these AI-enabled systems provide real-time driver feedback and use advanced ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and DMS (Driver Monitoring System) capabilities to detect behaviours like fatigue, harsh braking, and lane departure. The Cam Pro even supports up to eight auxiliary cameras and up to two terabytes of onboard storage, making it suitable for complex commercial vehicle operations.
Jonny Clarke from Webfleet explained that footage is uploaded directly to the cloud, enabling immediate alerts for fleet managers and timely driver coaching. With the backing of Bridgestone – who have already fitted the system to their service trucks – the product has already proven its value in operational settings.
The Brisbane Truck Show was the perfect stage for this launch, bringing together thousands of industry professionals eager to explore the latest safety and efficiency innovations. The Webfleet AI dashcam is now available in both Australia and New Zealand.
