Yucatan Kickstarter Edition First Impressions (Spoiler: it's not great!)

*** After shooting this video, I realized this pyramid box is supposed to be OUTSIDE the main box. So your game doesn't even fit in your box. But do note:
This massive additonal box is rather flimsy.
Its measurements are like no other box on your shelf, so where you gonna put it?
Shockingly, for such an unwieldy box, the pyramids don't really fit well in there nicely either.

*** I found out the crevice on the top part of the tray is meant to contain a set of 4 advisor tokens (5 in our KS version).
The backs of the yellow tokens are partly blue, so that is a complete Quality Control screw up.
The backs of the KS additional advisor token is a lot LIGHTER than the other 4.

*** They actually advertised a FULL SET of player aids (you only get two) at a HIGHER QUALITY (it's still nothing special)
*** They advertised a higher quality rulebook, but instead it is short, unclear and quite frankly AB-SO-LUTE GARBAGE.
*** They advertised linen card finish, which I don't see. The quality of the cards is sub par, in my opinion, the sleeves make it acceptible (but they are an add-on).
*** They advertised a poster signed by the creator, but instead it's just a poster with a message printed on the back. It's nice, but it's definitely NOT SIGNED.
*** The quality of the smaller warrior minis is NOT GREAT (mold lines, lots of bended parts).
*** As I mentioned, but do want to stress again, they speak of a game tray but IT DOESN'T FIT WELL IN THE BOX. Lots of things do NOT have a designated storage space and the box is NOT FILLED OUT/Topped up when everything is backed in it. There are awkward gaps. I hate this for what they claim is a DELUXE EXPERIENCE (on their Kickstarter page).

Folks, all in all, if this was just any off the rack game, I think it would definitely be okay. However, the fact that it's so hyped up and marketed as a DELUXE experience and you are thrown back 10+ years in terms of box inserts and rulebooks is just toe curling.
