ACT Science Strategy: Demystifying the “Fork Question”

The ACT Science section often includes what I call the “Fork Question” — a question structure that divides answer choices into two opposite paths (“forks”), usually with two answers supporting one conclusion and two supporting the opposite. It’s deceptively tricky, and many students waste time and lose points trying to navigate the detail-heavy traps.
