TShawStrong was founded by Tim Shaw a six-year NFL veteran who spent three full seasons as a linebacker and special teams ace with the Tennessee Titans. Tim was diagnosed with ALS in 2014. Both TShawStrong and the 5k to Beat ALS share the same mission: to raise awareness for ALS and generate funds to help find a cure, all while keeping administrative costs to a minimum.
