#RedBull Racing is a private team of Austrian origin based in Milton Keynes, Great Britain. It is owned by the eponymous beverage brand.

Red Bull's origins in #motorsport dates back to 1987, when it was the personal sponsor of driver Gerhard Berger. Between 1995 and 2004, he sponsored the Sauber team. In 2005, he bought the remains of Jaguar Racing and founded his own team: Red Bull Racing.

With the financial support of Dietrich Mateschitz and the sports direction of Christian Horner, the entity embarked on a long-term project. Earning the respect of its rivals was the first challenge, as many doubted that a beverage brand would be capable of creating competitive cars.
