An ST Vlog: A return to Mansfield on Remembrance Day (11/11/2025)

In this video, I make a return to Mansfield after a while since earlier this year. My good friend Josh or JPP TRANSPORT joins me as well today on his first visit to Mansfield. We first get the 0818 train to Nottingham, arriving 5 mins late. After the nation pauses for the 2 min silence, we then hop on the 1105 Pronto as far as Mansfield. We get around 2 hrs worth of pictures before we head on the 1410 Pronto back to Nottingham.

To commence our journey home we take the 1545 EMR back to Skegness, the journey went smoothly until we reach the outskirts of Hubberts Bridge were the train pauses for 33 mins due to signalling troubles between there and Boston and also having to wait for a heavily delayed Skegness to Nottingham to pass as it was single track to Boston from Hubberts Bridge. We then lose 5 more mins at Boston due to the next on time EMR to Nottingham being prioritised over our train as again, it is single track between Boston and Sibsey Jn. Despite the train troubles, we had a good day out and it was a pleasure keeping Josh company.
