Before Cathay Pacific's illustrious Boeing 777-367ER B-KPF. a 747 started the whole thing by being decked out in the original splendid design. It is seen here at LAX, several years ago, as it is readied for one of CX's daily nonstop departures to the World Class city of Hong Kong, also the carrier's base of operations.
Also seen in this clip is an interesting 'tug of war' between the 747 and the tug struggling to push it back. It was a heavy girl. after all it is as maxed out as a 747-400 could be ..plying the LAX-HKG route, which would require as much fuel it could possibly handle.
