-A quick tutorial on how to make a tiny pincusion that easily fits into a sewing basket. This is based on the same principles as a CD pincushion, but uses the metal ends from a can of refrigerator crescent rolls!
Supplies:
2 metal ends from a can of refrigerator crescent rolls
Needle
Nylon beading thread
Scissors
2 ½" square of thicker felt (I prefer wool or wool blend felt for these)
4" square of strong but loose weave fabric for the top (linen works beautifully)Small amount of wool roving (available where needle felting supplies or spinning and weaving supplies are sold)
Embroidery thread or pearl cotton
Thimble if desired
