Bodinayakkanur Railway Station has disappeared! 4K

Where's Bodinayakkanur railway station? It's missing! It's gone!

Okay, now let's get serious. Bodinayakkanur railway station is under renovation. The Railways has removed its old metre gauge tracks and is working to convert it into broad gauge. The 90 km train line from Madurai to Bodi has completed gauge conversion up to Theni railway station. Already, Usilampatti, Andipatti and Theni have got new modernized station.

However, the terminal station on the Madurai-Bodi line is still struggling with renovation work. At the rate work is going, it may take another year before train service begins at the new station.

Service was stopped on this line as back as 2011.
