I do a walk around of a local International HOUGH H100C Payloader. I talk about the features and a little about the history of this large earth moving machine.
International Harvester purchased the Frank G Hough company in the early 1950s for its famous wheel loaders. This addition to IH's well respected construction equipment lineup was well received. International Harvester's Hough division continued making wheel loaders including this H100C that dominated the industry for decades. Caterpillar, Allis Chalmers, Case, John Deere, Trojan, Michigan, and Clark were the major competitors.
This Hough H100C has an International DT817 engine and a 4 speed powershift transmission.
