In this episode of Godot Essentials for 2D Games, we’re going deep into scene transitions and camera movement using the AnimationPlayer.
We’ll set up clean scene changes between multiple maps, control where the player appears, work with multiple cameras, and then use the AnimationPlayer to add smooth fade in/out effects, a turn-based battle transition, and even a small cutscene with animated camera movement.
