Our visit to the Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo was truly one of a kind. Standing just a few steps away from a giant live crocodile was both thrilling and surreal—an experience you won’t easily forget. The zoo, founded back in 1950, is home to an astonishing 60,000 crocodiles, including the legendary Yai, once considered the world’s largest crocodile in captivity. But the magic doesn’t stop there; as we walked through the grounds, we encountered a wide variety of animals—from elephants and tigers to camels, hippos, monkeys, exotic birds, and more. The energy, excitement, and sheer scale of the place make it a must-see destination when traveling through Samut Prakarn Province.
