Haywood County Health & Human Services staff joined John Anderson on WPTL Radio (101.7 FM and 920 AM) to talk about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and local efforts to support mental health in our community.
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a free, confidential service available 24/7 for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis, emotional distress, or thoughts of suicide. Folks are connected with trained crisis counselors who can offer support, resources, and help in navigating the next steps.
