R62A #2176 was damaged in a derailment in January. In order to maintain optimal service frequencies, the MTA utilized R62A single car #1934 to replace car #2176, unitizing it with the remaining cars 2177-2180. This is an excellent example of the smart thinking and resourcefulness of the MTA's hardworking maintenance shop personnel! Enjoy!
