#Gas and #bloating in #stomach is very common #problem. #Causes, #symptoms and #treatment are very well defined

Common causes of gas in stomach are

1. Air swallow: Inadvertent swallow of air can lead to bloating
2. Lack of physical activity: Reduces movement of intestines can cause bloating
3. Obesity: Heightened sensitivity of intetstine will lead to gas sensation
4. Small bowel bacterial overgrowth: Increased number of bacteria in small intetstine increases fermentation of carbohydrates, leading to gas and bloating.
5. Indigestion
6. Increased sensitivity of intestines: Obesity and stress leads to increased sensitivity
7. Intake of fermentable carbohydrates
