This was our day in Skagway on our Princess Alaskan Cruise - we took the high speed ferry to Haines for the "Bear and Eagle Quest" excursion, during which we had the good fortune to see two different mama bears each with three cubs. We witnessed them catching and eating salmon from the river. Then back to Skagway for a delicious "Klondike Doughboy" and a walk around town. The day ended with "Puppies in the Piazza" - a presentation by 2023 Iditarod winner Ryan Redington - offering education about sled dogs, with a couple of puppies on display.
