Ukulele Sizes

Many people have asked me about the different sizes of the ukulele its particularities. In this video I want to show you the size and the particular sound of the first 3 sizes without counting the Baritone (the least used). And you, what is your favorite size? Why you like it?

-Soprano: It is the smallest of the family, considered also the most standard and known. Its sound is sharp and sweet.
-Concert: The concert changes with respect to the soprano in that it enlarges a little more and its tone becomes more serious. Many people like it because it is more comfortable to play because of its amplitude compared to the soprano.
-Tenor: One of the most used for fingerpicking, is even greater than the soprano and the concert. Its size allows a deep and deep sound, while its mast is much longer to reach higher pitches.

Mucha gente me ha preguntado acerca de los distintos tamaños del ukelele sus particularidades. En este video os quiero enseñar el tamaño y el sonido particular de los 3 primeros tamaños sin contar el Barítono (el menos utilizado). Y tú, cuál es tu tamaño favorito? Por qué te gusta?

-Soprano: Es el más pequeño de la familia, considerado también el más standard y conocido. Su sonido es agudo y dulce.
-Concierto: El concierto cambia respecto al soprano en que se agranda un poquito más y su tono se vuelve más grave. A mucha gente le gusta debido a que es más cómodo de tocar por su amplitud en comparación con el soprano.
-Tenor: Uno de los más utilizados para el fingerpicking, es aún mayor que el soprano y el concierto. Su tamaño permite una sonoridad grave y profunda, a la vez que su mástil es mucho más largo para poder llegar a tonos más agudos
