For the rest of the song, I attempt to encourage people struggling with this disease. It’s important for them to know that God’s power is available when they are ready to make the decision to surrender and trust Him. If I had to tell them anything, I’d tell them ‘God cares for you’. If you’re going to turn ‘Your will and your life over to God’, turn it over to a God who cares.”
