In this video I head back to Mappleton Beach on the Yorkshire coast for a simple sunrise shoot and a few long exposure images.
There is nothing groundbreaking here. I have photographed this stretch of coast more times than I can count, but sometimes that is exactly what you need. A familiar place, no pressure, just turning up with a camera and letting the process do the work.
After a bit of time away, Mappleton felt like the right place to blow off the photography cobwebs. Watching the light change, slowing things down with longer exposures, and reconnecting with why I enjoy being out there in the first place.
This one is more about the experience than the results. If you enjoy quiet mornings, coastal light, and photography without expectations, I think you will enjoy this.
