Little Red Riding Hood - Original Drum Corps Show

Little Red Riding Hood - an original show for drum & bugle corps by Luke Taylor.

This show tells the story of Little Red Riding Hood, with story points written onto the score. The Introduction provides a sense of foreboding for the story to come, setting a scene with dark chords from the low brass. Into the Woods then takes us for a stroll with Red Riding Hood, where she meets the Wolf for the first time. During the ballad, Grandma Won't You Let Me In, the Wolf visits Grandma, eating her up before the hornline pays tribute to her. Red Riding Hood arrives at Grandma's house during the beginning of the percussion feature, and a Confrontation between Red Riding Hood and the Wolf ensues before the Woodcutter shows up to save her. The show culminates with a triumphant parade throughout the city to celebrate the Woodcutter's heroic actions.
