Youngstown & Southeastern Railroad, a subsidiary of MB Rail, is a short line operating about 40 miles of track between Darlington, PA and Lowellville, OH. They service numerous industrial customers and have interchanges with Norfolk Southern and CSX Transportation.
Last week, I lucked out and found YSRR Engine #77 (ex-New Castle Industrial Railroad) picking up two tank cars off Cannelton Road in Darlington Twp, Pennsylvania. A second engine, wearing MB Rail sister company Camp Chase Railway Engine #7225, was also on hand to assist moving cars on a storage track.
Numerous views are seen along Cannelton Road with both engines as well as them running together through the Watts Mill Cut.
I'd like to extend a big thank you to the courteous professionals of MB Rail / Youngstown & Southeastern Railroad for tolerating a spectator on a miserably hot day.
