We use our Ventrac 4500Z, KP540 Power Rake and HE480 Slip Scoop to create a level area for an above ground pool. The mean height difference is about 18" from highest to lowest point so we need to carve out some of the slope. We cut the high spot and fill the low area and keep refining until we have a smooth and level surface, perfect for placing a pool! In addition to our Ventrac, use also use a precision laser that is accurate to 1/16" per 100'. That's .003 or 3 Thousandths of a degree! We got this pad to within 1/4" across 25 feet, about 0.05 degrees. That's really good :)
