MILESTONE - The most challenging part of developing a closed-cycle liquid 🚀 engine is the turbopump. Today we reached all our E-2 engine LOX turbo-pump performance goals: pressure (320 bar), flow (25 kg/s), pump efficiency (64%), turbine efficiency (70%) during a full duration test (120 sec) at NASA Stennis Space Center

Based on Soviet heritage RD-8 engine but with customized impeller removing the need for a booster pump and increasing efficiency. 3D printed and machined by Launcher in the 🇺🇸 - Likely the best rocket engine turbopump of its class/size.
