This video covers our final travel day, a short drive from the mountain farming town of Jardin, to the city of Medellin, and concludes our cross continental South America journey.
Opening shots cover some of the street life on the morning of December 24th, before most businesses shut down for the various Christmas dinners and other celebrations.
After finding a restaurant still serving dinner in Medellin, we traveled to the city's Christmas light festival, a mile-long display of lights across the river flowing through Medellin.
My own travels took me back home to Canada to see my family on Christmas day. My friend who had done most of the driving I filmed stayed for another week to resell his vehicle before coming back.
