Roaster's Choice February 25 - Faustin Ribalimana - Musasa Ruli - Rwanda

Welcome to February's Roaster's Choice subscription coffee! This month we have a delicious, easy drinking coffee for you with a great story behind it and of-course Gareth's (and the team's) tasting notes.

Here Gareth takes you through in a bit more detail but traditionally, buying coffee from Rwanda means buying through cooperatives and therefore the product you get comes from multiple farmers. However, this year the cooperative we work with has decided to separate the lots and has chosen this specific lot from a producer named Faustin Ribalimana. He is a 57-year-old coffee farmer, who has been a pioneering member of the cooperative since its inception. Living just 200 meters from the cooperative's headquarters, has allowed him to elevate his farm into a model of success and his farm has become a model of excellence, recognized for its high standards.
